Apply Your Learning
Make the most out of your university career by taking advantage of all that Laurier has to offer you. Volunteer work, campus clubs, leadership programs, studying abroad, work experience – there are so many ways you can extend your classroom experience into the real world.
Here are just a few examples of the experiences you’ll have access to in the Game Design and Development program:
- Apply to the Game Changers Residence Learning Community to live and learn with other first-year Game Design and Development students.
- Participate in campus, community and corporate experiential learning opportunities such as game jams and research projects to gain hands-on experience and build your professional portfolio.
- Create and release your own games by yourself and with others through project-based coursework and student groups, such as the Game Design and Development Student Association and Themed Entertainment Association @ University club.
