Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Choose From the Best

Laurier students and alumni are among the best – and it's not just us saying it.

Whether you're looking for a co-op student, part-time staff, volunteer, intern or full-time employee, Experiential Learning and Career Development can help you. Enhance the profile of your organization by collaborating with postsecondary researchers and practitioners, and gain access to the skills and knowledge of Laurier students.

Our services and experiential learning programs at Laurier – Career Development Centre, Co-op, Community Service-Learning, and Workplace Partnerships – ensure you have our best students and graduates engaged with your organization.

"As a non-profit organization, we don’t have a big budget. Laurier co-op students have the skills to design programs and develop curriculum quickly. One student’s research into social enterprise was of such high quality that questionnaires, tracking and methodology were used as part of the pilot project for seven locations."

– Carol Risidore, The Literacy Group of Waterloo Region

Inspiring Talent

Our Career Centre supports your recruiting needs for full-time, summer, part-time and contract employment while our Co-op program makes it easy for you to recruit and employ eager, qualified Laurier co-op students.
