Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Recruiting current students, graduating students or alumni? We invite you to submit job postings for summer, part-time and full-time employment.

Opportunities may be posted directly in our Navigator online portal. Alternatively, you can email your posting to recruitlaurier@wlu.ca

If you are a new employer, complete the employer account registration. If you have already created an account or previously posted a job at Laurier, simply click login.

Create Your Posting in Navigator

Log in to Navigator and then click "Post a Job," select "Off-Campus Job Postings" and complete the form. The position types are:

  • Graduating Student Employment: Final-year students seeking full-time jobs after graduation. Typically, roles are entry-level and require less than one year of experience.
  • Immediate Full-Time: Alumni/recent graduates for immediate full-time/contract openings.
  • Summer and Part-Time Employment: Enrolled or returning students looking to work May to August (summer) and throughout the year (part-time).

We will notify you by email when your posting has been approved and is active for students/alumni.

Laurier faculty and staff looking to recruit students can find information on Connect.

Increase Exposure for Your Job Posting

A featured job posting is prominently displayed on the student dashboard in Navigator and includes a link for direct access to your posting. The fee is $100 plus HST per posting. To feature your posting, select the "Featured Job" option and upload your organization's logo when you post your position in Navigator.

Applications

You may specify on the job posting how you would like applicants to apply. The options are: direct to you via email or website link or Navigator collection. For Navigator collection, applicants upload their applications into Navigator. You will have electronic access to the applications at 10 a.m. the day following the job posting deadline.
