Apply to one program and graduate with two degrees with this multi-degree pathway.
If you're successful in your application to the Arts Degree (BA) and MBA program, you'll receive two conditional offers of admission:
This means that if you decide to continue your studies at the graduate level, you don’t need to apply to the master's program at Laurier because you’ve already received a conditional offer of admission. As long as you meet your progression requirements, you will begin your master's program after you graduate from your BA or BSc degree program.

The BA + MBA pathway collaboration between the Faculty of Arts and the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics is designed for high-calibre students aspiring to obtain both an arts and business education.
The MBA program is designed to be completed in three academic terms in addition to your four-year BA program.

MBA students also participate in the Community Engagement Experience, a structured field-based community service project with a partner not-for-profit organization. This program milestone focuses on team building while engaging in a meaningful experience focused on social impact, leadership and community engagement.

Laurier's language of instruction is English, and so we may require you to provide evidence of your English proficiency to help make sure you are successful in your academic courses.
Your three most recent years of full-time education must be in English without taking any ESL (English as a Second Language) courses. If you do not meet this requirement, you must provide evidence of your English proficiency.
We reserve the right to request an English-language test from any applicant.
If you do not meet Laurier's English proficiency requirement but are academically qualified for your program, you may be eligible for a conditional offer of admission.
The Academic Transition Pathway (ATP) program is offered through our affiliated institution, Wilfrid Laurier International College, and provides an option for meeting our English-proficiency requirement. If you have received an offer to Laurier with a condition to meet our English-proficiency requirement, you can meet that condition by successfully completing the ATP program.

Co-op allows you to integrate your classroom learning with practical experience in your field of study. The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics co-op program is the largest of its kind in Canada and has earned a 95% employment rate for many years now.
All Arts Degree (BA) + Master of Business Administration (MBA) students have the option to apply for the co-op stream as part of their graduate degree experience. Co-op in the MBA program is competitive, and students apply in their final year of undergraduate studies.
Most MBA co-op students will earn eight months of paid work experience that will provide an invaluable addition to your resumé and give you the insights needed to help you make the right choices for your career path. Students not selected for co-op will be able to continue in the full-time MBA program.

Below is a breakdown of tuition fees and expenses for Laurier Arts students for one year (or two terms) studying full time. Fees are based on 2026/27 rates and are subject to increase. All fees are shown in Canadian dollars.

When you apply to Laurier you’ll be automatically assessed for entrance scholarships (based on your final admission average) and for in-course scholarships in your upper years (based on your Laurier GPA from the previous academic year). We also offer more than 700 competitive scholarships and awards, which require separate applications and may be awarded throughout the academic year.

This is primarily an in-person program, meaning you'll attend classes on campus and learn face-to-face with professors and classmates. When you register for courses, you'll be able to select from available sections and create your timetable.
In-person delivery gives you direct access to faculty, hands-on learning opportunities and a traditional university student experience.
