Eva

Hello, fellow aspiring leaders! My name is Eva Raiyani. I am a recent Laurier graduate and an International Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator. I am so glad to have the opportunity to interact with enthusiastic prospective Golden Hawks like you, who want to receive the best possible education and are open to life-changing opportunities.

Coming to Laurier as an international student was a leap of faith for me. I was anxious about this decision, hoping for it to be the right one. Now that I look back, I think it is one of the best decisions I ever made for myself and my family. Laurier's warm and welcoming community assured me that I belong here. I felt supported and cared for throughout my journey as an undergraduate student. Laurier has truly been my home away from home.

As a Laurier graduate, I feel empowered to thrive, both in the present and the future. Laurier's strong sense of community continues to inspire me every day, and I cannot wait to welcome you here to join us in this life-changing journey of leadership and purpose.

Connect with International Students and Alumni

There's a lot to consider when picking a university in another country and our student and alumni ambassadors are here to help you navigate this exciting journey. Connect with one of our team members through their profile.

Don't know what to ask? Here are some of the questions our international ambassadors considered when they were thinking about choosing Laurier.

Ask our Students:

  • What is the first year of your program like?
  • What is it like to live in Canada and where did you live in first year?
  • What are the professors like in your program?
  • How can I experience campus when I can't visit in person?

Ask our Alumni:

  • How did your Laurier degree/experience help you in being success in your current role?
  • Did you have plans to work internationally after graduation?
  • Do you have any suggestions on how to approach international positions?
  • What was your favourite class at Laurier?

While you are here you will learn new things and you will explore subjects and extracurricular activities that interest and intimidate you.
