    You can apply to co-op at the end of first year and complete twelve months of work experience over the course of your four-year degree. During your work terms, you'll learn to challenge assumptions, communicate effectively and work cooperatively.
  • Competitions 
    Develop case analysis skills using real-world business scenarios and prepare for case competitions throughout your degree.
  • Research and Teaching 
    Work one-on-one with professors and build on your classroom experiences by researching some of the most pressing topics facing business leaders. In your upper years, teach and mentor first-year students in your favourite intro-level courses.

How Does Business Co-op at Laurier Work?

Co-op lets you integrate what you learn in the classroom with practical experience in your chosen field. Build your resume, earn money, develop your network and graduate with work experience.

At the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, you can apply for admission to co-op in your first year and may be eligible for an admission interview early in your second year. You will complete two work terms between third and fourth year, giving you 12 months of full-time work experience.
