Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Imagine having the technical knowledge to build systems and then market them. We've combined our internationally accredited Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and our Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science, providing you with the technical know-how to go along with analytical skills and business expertise. Skills in database and Internet computing are especially valued as marketing diversifies from print and broadcast media to new technologies, and the market is strong for the technically savvy business graduate.

You can earn these two degrees in five years while participating in Canada’s largest business degree co-op program, where you’ll gain 12-16 months of practical work experience.

Program Highlights

  • co-op-icon.jpgAutomatic entry into co-op.
  • In your first year, you’ll work in a team to generate and present a new venture for our BDO New Venture Competition, and in your third year, you’ll put your business knowledge to the test during a weeklong case study competition, where you’ll analyze a real problem facing a real company.
  • Our Computer Science program considers hands-on experience as key to your understanding of computing fundamentals, so junior courses focus on lab experience while senior courses emphasize design projects.
  • The iPhone Application Programming course ends with the presentation of apps to judges including representatives from Apple, the awarding of prizes, and the opportunity to meet representatives from local startups.
  • Two degrees, BBA and BSc plus four co-op work terms in five years instead of six!
