About Senate Meetings

The Senate and its committees meet regularly from September to May.

Most meetings are open to the public, although meetings may be moved in camera (members and invited guests only) for reasons of confidentiality and privacy.

A non-member of the Senate or a committee may participate in a discussion at an open meeting, if recognized by the chair or by a one-third vote of members present.
