Program Details

What is a BA + MA Program?

If you’re successful in your application to the BA + MA program you’ll receive two conditional offers of admission:

  • One to undergraduate studies: the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Global Studies or Human Rights at Laurier; and
  • One to graduate studies: the Master of Arts (MA) in International Development program at the University of Sussex.

This means that if you decide to continue your studies at the graduate level and meet the progression requirements for the program, you will receive a guaranteed offer of admission to Sussex because you’ve already received a conditional offer of admission. You will begin your master’s program after you graduate from your BA at Laurier.

Benefits of the BA + MA

Students accepted into the BA + MA program receive mentoring and skills development opportunities throughout their undergraduate degree that will help them achieve the admission requirements for the graduate program in the UK and help turn the conditional offer into an acceptance.
