Co-op for Faculty of Science Students

Co-op is designed to provide you with opportunities to develop skills and gain real-world experience in the career path of your interest. Co-op students gain a competitive advantage over other applicants by completing modules and assignments focused on cover letter and resume writing, as well as mock interviews, within the required Fundamentals of Co-operative Education course.

During your co-op work terms, you'll learn to challenge assumptions, communicate effectively, think critically and work cooperatively.

How Science Co-op Works

You can apply for admission to co-op after first year and may be eligible for an admission interview early in your second year. As a student in this program, you will be eligible to complete two work terms of four months’ duration, in the spring after your second and third year of study.
