Wilfrid Laurier University is deeply saddened by the horrific attacks in Paris on Nov. 13. Our sympathy goes out to those affected.
The safety of our students, faculty and staff is a top priority for Laurier. We have been checking on the status of those in France at this time and will continue to do so.
We are asking any student, faculty or staff member who is currently in France and whom we have not heard from to email Phyllis Power, manager of global engagement programming, at the following address to provide us with an update on your situation and current contact information: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The university has also communicated with students from France who are currently studying at Laurier to offer support.
The Government of Canada has a telephone line and email address for those who need assistance or are seeking information about relatives at 1-613-996-8885 or email@example.com. Government travel advice and advisories are available at travel.gc.ca/destinations/france.
