Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Junior University Multidisciplinary Program (JUMP) offers three different options that vary in duration; full JUMP is a three-day residential experience, mini JUMP is a two-day residential experience and day JUMP jams all of the fun into one day. Each program is ideal for schools looking for a year-end trip that combines learning and fun.
Note: Night time supervision is available at an additional cost.
JUMP offers a selection of kid-friendly meals to nourish and energize participants during their action-packed trip. Schools will eat each meal together in one of Laurier’s dining facilities.
Snacks are provided throughout the trip and water fountains are available across campus to refill water bottles.
Laurier Food Services is able to accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies. Parents are asked to indicate any dietary information on the registration form. Please contact the JUMP Coordinator directly to discuss special dietary needs. All JUMP meals and snacks are nut-free.

JUMP students, teachers and chaperones stay in a dormitory-style residence that contains single bedrooms that share a bathroom with one other bedroom. There are common lounges on each floor.
Each room contains a sheet, blanket, pillow, towel, soap and cup. Participants are encouraged to bring a sleeping bag. Teachers are responsible for completing the rooming list for their classes.
