Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

One of the easiest ways to experience what it's like to be a Laurier Golden Hawk is to visit us during Fall Open House. You're invited to join us Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the Brantford campus.

What You Can Do at Open House

Open House is one of the best times to visit and feel the community spirit that makes Laurier so special. Students, staff and faculty look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you have.

  • Take a campus tour with a current student as your guide.
  • Explore apartment-style residences and learn about residence life.
  • Attend our information fairs and learn about programs, the student experience and university supports for students.
  • Attend open house sessions: faculty and students are here to explain our programs in depth and answer all of your questions.

Get the Most Out of Your Day

  • Register in advance to get email reminders and updates before the event, including parking information.
  • Review the schedule below and plan your day before you get to campus. Printed copies of the event schedule are available Nov. 9 at various spots across campus.
  • Find out how to get here and where to park.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and check the weather before you leave – you'll have the chance to explore the entire campus.
  • Start your day at the Research and Academic Centre – most event activities are taking place here.
