We believe global experiences benefit all students — both international and domestic — so we offer plenty of programming that can take you around the world, or enhance your intercultural skills right at home.
Each year in November, International Education Week (IEW) offers Laurier students a number of activities on both Brantford and Waterloo campuses. During IEW, departments, faculties and student organizations are given an opportunity to celebrate and showcase the diversity of programs, events and activities on campus and in the community which expose students to an international dimension, enriching their learning and preparing them to engage and challenge the world in all its complexity.
This year, International Education Week will take place Nov. 13-18, 2017 and a schedule of events will be available soon.
Whether you're planning to earn your degree at Laurier as an international student, or want to come to Laurier on an international exchange, we have plenty of international student supports in place to help you have a great Canadian academic experience.
Take your Laurier experience global! Earn Laurier credits and pay Laurier tuition while studying on exchange at one of our university partners around the world. You can go for one or two semesters, or just for the summer. There are also plenty of other opportunities for you to work or volunteer abroad.
An international education can start at home, and our global engagement programming brings together domestic and international students so you can expand your intercultural knowledge – without leaving campus!
