Wilfrid Laurier University has been working to develop a detailed and integrated plan for gradual return to on-campus operations while adhering to public health guidelines. Student safety is a top priority for the university.
The university has shared four safety steps with students for those who are living on or near our campuses and accessing approved spaces such as the Athletic Centre, Laurier-Brantford YMCA, food services, or classrooms: 1. Assess 2. Distance 3. Protect and 4. Clean.
To keep our community informed, we are providing links to the details shared with students:
In addition, the university continues to work closely with Public Health officials, local police, and emergency services partners to ensure off-campus safety for all students, encouraging smart, safe and respectful behaviours to help keep our communities safe.
The university is committed to doing our part in the national and global effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus. We will continue to share updates as plans evolve.
