In light of news that all classes will be moving online until the end of the semester, please be advised that all residences and the Fresh Food Company (on the Waterloo campus) will remain open and operational.
In an effort to prioritize the safety and wellbeing of the Laurier community, we ask that students who would like to stay with friends or family for the rest of the semester make arrangements to move out of residence completely. You will not be permitted to return. Information about move-out procedures can be found below.
For those staying in residence, we are instituting a strict no-guest policy until further notice, except if you require assistance moving out or for medical reasons. All residence services, including custodial operations, will continue.
If you’re experiencing flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough or difficulty breathing; if you’ve tested positive for the coronavirus; or if you’ve been instructed by a medical professional to self-isolate, please remain in self-isolation for 14 days and contact Public Health and Special Constable Services immediately.
If you’ve recently travelled to a high-risk area, have travelled on a cruise ship or been in close contact with a person with COVID-19, please remain in self-isolation for 14 days and contact Public Health and the Department of Residence at email@example.com immediately.
Please leave your residence room in at least the same condition it was in when you first moved in.
If you have questions, please reach out to student staff in your residence first.
For more information about how this will impact residence operations, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
