June 30 key updates:
Canada Student Service Grant: Students are encouraged to view information about the Canada Student Service Grant (CSSG) program. This program provides meaningful service opportunities to thousands of post-secondary students and recent graduates, creating impacts in communities across Canada and empowering young people to develop their own skills through service. Upon completion of the CSSG volunteer opportunity, student participants who meet the eligibility criteria can also apply to receive a grant between $1,000 and $5,000. Volunteering takes place between now and October 31, 2020 and many of the opportunities are remote. Please review the full eligibility details regarding the grant (validation of number of hours, whether you are receiving other income benefits, etc.)
Golden Hawks 30x30 challenge: Athletics & Recreation invites students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members to stay active while staying home with the Golden Hawks 30x30 Challenge. The 30x30 Challenge encourages participants to complete 30 minutes of activity per day for 30 days in July. You can walk, bike, HIIT train, do yoga or be active any other way you love!
