Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

July 7 key updates:
Shinerama is going virtual: In lieu of Laurier’s annual Shine Day, the Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union will be hosting a virtual paint night on July 16 at 7 p.m. to raise money in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis. Join in for a fun-filled evening of painting (Bob Ross style) via Zoom, hosted by artist Justine Shuey. You will also get to learn more about Cystic Fibrosis and Shinerama, as Mike Farwell of #Farwell4Hire will speak about how Cystic Fibrosis has closely impacted his life. Tickets can be purchased at tickets.yourstudentsunion.ca. It is only $5 to participate as a Laurier student and $10 to participate as a guest. All of the money raised will go directly to Shinerama and any additional donations can be made here.
