Once you have applied to Laurier, you will receive a confirmation email with your LORIS account log-in information. This will allow you to view your application status online and check to see when we have received your documents.
To ensure you receive our emails, please add email@example.com to your address book or “safe sender” list in your email account, because we will be communicating with you by email over the next few months.
When you request for your transcript(s) to be sent to Laurier, it can take two to three weeks for Laurier to receive the documentation. Your application will take two to four weeks to process after we have received all required documents.
According to the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) website, they are processing applications as quickly as possible; however, OUAC is currently backlogged and ask for your patience as they process applications. Please check OUAC's news page for additional updates.
Due to the backlog, we are currently processing a high volume of applications and it is taking more time to send confirmation emails for fall 2017 applications submitted through OUAC. Application information is being processed in the order in which it is received from OUAC and we are anticipating a processing time of up to three weeks for confirmation emails to be sent for these applications. If you do not receive a confirmation message from us within three weeks of applying, please check your junk mail first and let us know if you haven’t received our email.
