I received my PhD in Economics from Renmin University of China, Master of Economics from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in China, and Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) from the University of British Columbia. I was an associate professor at Yantai University of China and have worked at Laurier since 2015.
The main focuses of my current research are academic librarianship and information science. I am interested in applying econometrical methods to study the labour market of librarianship and information seeking behaviours of diverse groups.
