I received my Masters of Information Studies from the University of Toronto in 1999.
Prior to joining Laurier, I was a reference librarian at York University (2001-2008) and at Ryerson (2006 -2008).
The main focus of my research is guided by my interest in pedagogy. This includes an interest in active learning practices as well as constructivist approaches to education. I am also keenly interested in best practices for teaching for transfer.
I am responsible for liaising with Indigenous Studies; Leadership; Society, Culture, and Environment; and Social Justice and Community Engagement. I also provide reference for all subject areas at the Brantford campus.
