I received my PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 2021. Before joining Wilfrid Laurier University, I was an Assistant Professor with the School of Computing, University of the Fraser Valley, BC, from 2024 to 2025. I also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, from 2021 to 2024.
My research interests include: Digital twin networks/human digital twins, internet of things, secure and privacy-preserving data sharing, mathematical modelling of advanced cyber-physical systems, stochastic geometry and queueing theory, split federated learning, cloud-edge-mobile computing, distributed computing, AI for security and security for AI.
