Print | PDFOur Laurier leaders inspire the lives of leadership and purpose at Laurier. These leaders are comprised of our employees who wish to share their experiences working at Laurier, what inspires them and what being a part of the Laurier community means to them.
Gena Braun is the research instrumentation technician for the Faculty of Science.
Inspiring lives of leadership and purpose means that creativity, courage, innovation, and outside-the-box dreams are not only encouraged, but celebrated and actively supported.
I am inspired by individuals that are truly passionate about their jobs, and for whom this passion extends past the boundaries of campus to positively impact the local community and beyond. Their example, combined with the outstanding community spirit found at Laurier, give me the courage to dream about and then take action on initiatives within and outside of my position at Laurier.
Innovating and collaborating with my exceptional colleagues to reach out to local high school students and promote water science.
It allowed me to participate in an educational environment that is committed to cutting-edge research, sustainability, community involvement, and collaborative innovation in business and science.
Supporting and encouraging my amazing colleagues, training and inspiring truly remarkable students, and making the expertise found at Laurier available to the broader community.
