Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Laurier's multi-campus, multi-community emphasis is a critical part of our identity. We currently have campuses located in Waterloo and Brantford and offices in Kitchener, Toronto, Yellowknife and Chongqing, China. A third campus is being explored in partnership with the Town of Milton, Ontario.
People come to Laurier to be a part of a collaborative and welcoming community. As an employee, we all have a responsibility to help create, maintain and innovate the learning and working environment of the university.
The Laurier workplace supports a culture of inclusion and engagement by encouraging staff and faculty to take part in volunteer opportunities that have a positive impact on our students, community members and each other.
On-campus volunteer opportunities:
Laurier committee, council and community groups:
Laurier provides many opportunities for staff and faculty to get involved in group or committee work that is relevant to individual's interests, profession or as a way to make an impact on our internal and external community.
