Join us at Laurier

Being a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Campus Safety

Concerned about campus safety? Don’t be. Anyone can stay up-to-date on safety on campus with our new SAFEHawk App, which is available for free on any Android, BlackBerry or Apple device through their respective app stores.

Student Services and Support

At Laurier, we offer an exceptional student-centred experience. Our Office of Student Affairs facilitates the personal, intellectual and experiential development of our students. We're here for our students, and we have a number of services to ensure that they succeed in their academics, in their future career, and in their day-to-day life

Privacy and Tuition Invoices

We protect the personal privacy of our students in compliance with Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). Consult our FIPPA for Parents webpage for answers to commonly asked questions about student privacy.

If your student is interested in providing you access to their invoicing and account summary information at Laurier, you’ll need their permission to access it. Student can access their LORIS (Laurier Online Registration and Information System) account and grant you proxy access.

Money Management

Whether your student is entering first year or going into fourth, attending postsecondary education requires some careful financial planning. Visit our Money Management page for information on how you can support your student in this regard.

Convocation

All your love and support has led your student to this place: graduation! At university, students need to apply to graduate. Our convocation page has all the information you need about the ceremonies, photos, receptions and more.
