I am a professional pop-jazz vocalist, pop-jazz pianist, performer, teacher. Throughout my career I have gained extensive experience in concert performances, academic research, and teaching.
My professional career began when I graduated from Music College, specializing in Jazz Piano. Then, I graduated from Pedagogical University, where I received a Master's degree in Pedagogy with a focus on ethics, aesthetics, fine arts culture and music.
My second university degree was obtained from Kharkiv National University of Arts. I obtained qualifications as a jazz-pop vocalist, performer, teacher and I earned a Master's degree with honors.
Motivated by my dedication to music, I continued my academic journey by enrolling in postgraduate studies in the department of harmony and polyphony at Kharkiv National University of Arts. In 2014, I obtained a PhD in Musical Arts. The topic of my research was "The Phenomenon of Vocal Improvisation in Jazz." This research allowed me to delve deeper into the intricacies of jazz improvisation, jazz harmony, different musical styles (swing, blues, bossa-nova, funk, jazz-rock, Latin and Cuban styles, bebop, hard-bop, etc.), jazz scales, scat technique, music history, and performing manners of the famous vocalists.
My journey as a musician and educator has shaped me into the performer and teacher I am today. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with students and I always happy to improve the skills, abilities and knowlage of the students.
I am glad to be a piano instructor at Laurier Academy of Music and Arts. Previously I worked in six universities as a teacher and performer. I taught the Bachelor's and Master's degree students whose background was pop-jazz piano or pop-jazz vocal. Many students of mine took part in international competitions and won grand prizes.
I also enjoyed to working with a great pianist Xiao Ming (piano teacher in Xingtai University, China) and Tom Hesley (a great American saxophone performer, teacher in Huizhou University, China).

You cannot imagine how music affects our emotions, mentality, body and spirit. I am keen on the music which affects you positively, which enriches you, forming your own musical taste and culture, so students can distinguish which is good and which is bad.
Doing improvisation on our lessons is always fun and interesting, and we always keep a good sense of humor.
Believe me, everyone can improve their musical abilities. The main thing is to start doing it in the right direction.
