Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.


Who qualifies for the Women Entrepreneurship Centre (WEC) program? You can apply if you're:

  • You identify as a woman entrepreneur.
  • 50% or more of your business is women-owned.
  • Open to feedback and new ideas.
  • Open to provide regular constructive feedback to the program.
  • Ready to start and grow your business.

Note: No franchise operations can apply, and no multi-level marketing businesses can apply.


The WEC provides successful applicants:

  • Training focused on developing and managing your business.
  • Leadership training, advisory services and mentoring.
  • Shared coworking space (hot desks).
  • An outstanding community of peers and supporters.

And the best part: it’s 100% free. No cost, no equity.
