Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Spring Open House is happening Saturday, May 25, 2019, on the Waterloo campus. Events are happening from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – just in time for you to make the big decision about accepting your offer!

You can enjoy any portion of the events offered during the day. Get a great taste of our vibrant campus life while learning about residence, student support services, financial aid opportunities, your program of interest and what it’s like to be a Laurier Golden Hawk. You may just meet your future classmates too!

Make the Most of Your Day

  • Plan your day around your faculty presentation to learn more about your program, as it’s only offered at one time.
  • Campus and residence tours are offered throughout the day so you can jump on one of those at any time. We also have a Student Experience Fair you won’t want to miss!
  • View our custom event map to find out how to get here and where to park. Parking is free for campus guests!
  • Get familiar with the Waterloo campus before you arrive so you know where to go.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and check the weather before you leave.
  • Grab an event flyer that contains the event schedule and a campus map when you arrive.

Get to a parking spot faster by setting your GPS to an event parking lot. Our central campus parking is limited and is usually full by 9:30 a.m. If you arrive at the main entrance, located at 75 University Avenue West, and our central campus lots are full, you will need to complete a loop of campus before exiting to one of our designated parking lots. To avoid this, proceed directly to one of our event parking lots where volunteers will direct you to main campus.

Our event parking map works best in the Google Maps mobile app. If on a web browser, Google Maps asks you to log in to view the map, try opening the link in a new browser or use your phone to access the map.

Accessible Parking

If you require accessible parking, please come to Mid Campus Drive at 75 University Avenue West where parking staff will direct you to accessible parking.
