Permit Information for Faculty and Contract Academic Staff
Please note your employment status as permit information and cost varies. If you have any questions regarding your status, contact Human Resources. Faculty may park only in lots designated as GOLD parking lots [Lots 1, 2, 3B, 6, 7, 9 (east), 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 24, 27, 28, 33, 35, 37 (east) and 38]. Please refer to a campus map for these locations. Permit parking is enforced in these lots from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday and 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Fridays (please verify with signs posted in these lots). However, evening/weekend parking is NOT permitted in Lot 18 after 10:00 p.m. As well, free evening parking is not permitted in the following gold lots: 12, 15, 21, 35 and 38.
Parking in student lots, on roadways or in fire routes will not be tolerated and violators will be ticketed and/or towed.
Full Time Faculty;
New Full Time Faculty may apply for a parking permit online by completing the application below. Any outstanding parking fines need to be paid before a new permit may be issued. Your permit will be available for pick up within one (1) business day. If you would like your permit sent to you through inter-office mail, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Full Time Faculty pay for their permit through payroll deduction (amount deducted may vary depending on pay schedule).
To apply for a full-time continuing Faculty (NOT Contract Academic Staff) parking permit, please follow directions below;
1.) Go to www.wluparking.com select "View my parking account".
2.) Log in with your Laurier Network login credentials.
3.) Should your account have outstanding parking violations payment in full muct be processed prior to ordering a parking permit. Payment may be processed online and you will be required to complete check out and log back in to process your order.
4.) Select "Order a permit".
5.) Permit tab will appear, select a "Permit type". If more than one permit option appears please renew the same permit you currently posses.

Select "next" (bottom right of screen).
6.) Vehicle tab will appear, input or edit vehicle information. Select "next" (if vehicle model is not an option write model in comments.)
7.) Delivery Tab will appear - permits will be sent via inter-office mail, please remember to input your office location in the comments tab. If you prefer to pick up your permit at the Parking office please select pick up. Select next.
8.) Comments Tab will appear, please input office location and vehicle model if necessary.
9.) Add permit to cart and complete check out.
10.) You should receive a confirmation email indicating you have completed the process. Please allow 3-4 business days for your permit to arrive via inter-office mail.
*If you have any problems with this process, please contact the Parking office directly.
Ceasing your parking deductions for Full-time Faculty;
*** If you NO LONGER REQUIRE your permit due to termination or a university sanctioned leave (layoff, maternity or medical leave) greater than three (3) months, to cease parking deductions, you must complete the Cease Payroll Form and return your parking permit to our office. Parking and Transportation Resources must have the completed form and your permit to cease payroll deductions. If both the form and the permit are not received, deductions will not be ceased and you will continue to be charged for parking, deductions do not automatically cease when your permit expires.
Please Note; Parking and Transportation Resources does not determine the exact date that your parking deductions will cease. If you are paid monthly, the Payroll department will cease your deductions at the end of the month. If you are paid-bi-weekly, the Payroll department will cease your deductions at the end of the next pay period. Payroll will not prorate deductions.
Permit Renewal for Full-time Faculty;
Parking deductions do not automatically cease when your permit expires. Payroll simply does a “rollover” of deductions. Thus, if you choose to not re-new your parking permit during the upcoming March 2017 renewal period, you must complete the Cease Payroll Form or deductions will not be ceased and you will continue to be charged for parking.
Contract Academic Staff (CAS);
Contract Academic Staff may apply for a gold permit at Parking Services (located at 202 Regina St. 2nd flr.) or online at www.wluparking.com Any outstanding parking fines need to be paid before a new permit may be issued. Contract Academic Staff pay upfront for their parking permit, payment options are cash, cheque, debit or credit (mastercard or visa) at the Parking office. You may also pay with mastercard or visa via the Parking website.

If your permit is lost or stolen
If your permit is lost or stolen, please contact Sue Dawson at ext. 3697 OR the Parking Office immediately to alert us of the situation. The Parking Office or Service Laurier, upon receiving payment of the $50.00 replacement fee, can then issue you a new permit and the old permit will then be made inactive. Please note; if you wish to cease your parking deductions and have lost your permit you will need to purchase a replacement permit in order for us to process the request.
