Submission of Final Grades



Final grades are due by the last date of each term as noted in the Graduate Calendar. If you are unable to meet this deadline, please contact the Graduate Studies Office in advance either by phone (ext. 2617) or by e-mail fgps@wlu.ca.

Whenever possible, grades for students should be submitted as soon as they are available, rather than holding off submitting final grades for a course until each and every student's final grade is calculated.

Students who have not completed the required coursework and for whom grades are not available by the last day of the term must have an approved extension and appropriate documentation must be submitted to the Graduate Studies Office by the first day of classes in the next term. It is the instructor's responsibility to record a grade of INC (incomplete) when an extension is approved.

When an instructor determines that a final grade must be changed (e.g., from INC to a letter grade), the grade must be changed using the online Grade Revisions Form.

Grades for students who were registered to AUDIT a course will be recorded on the student's transcript and the term "AUD'' will appear in lieu of a grade. If a student who registered to audit a course did not attend the class, the instructor is required to notify the Graduate Studies Office and the course will be removed from the student's record.
