Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture in 1981, Michael J. Milloy has since founded and was instrumental in the growth and development of Gateman-Milloy Inc. and related companies. Gateman-Milloy and related companies combine to be one of the largest and most respected general and site contractors in Canada with over 300 employees. President of all Corporations responsible for all administration, sales and development of multiple divisions vertically integrated including:

• Design and Engineering
• Property Maintenance
• Parks and Recreation
• Golf Course Construction and Management
• Site Works and Civil Engineering
• General Contracting, Design-Build, Project Management and Ownership
• Ornamental Tree Nursery Operation
• Granular Supply Processing and Production
• Manufacturing of Specialty Landscape Products
• Land Development

As a committed supporter to the development and future of Kitchener-Waterloo, and the health and prosper of its residents, Milloy is also an active fundraiser for several local charities, and has served in various capacities on Board of Directors of many organizations.

Milloy and his wife Donna have been married for 28 years and have two children Shawn 26 and Sarah 24.

Milloy is a member of several associations some of which include: Ontario Association of Landscape Architects, Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists, The Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture Alumni Association, Canadian Golf Course Superintendents Association, and Grand Valley Construction Association, The Ontario General Contractors Association.
