FAQs



The following frequently asked questions are designed to help answer the academic questions of new and returning students.

I am having difficulty using LORIS; where can I go for assistance? 
Please click on “LORIS” on the left hand side of the screen (under FAQs) for a variety of LORIS resources.

I have questions related to OSAP, scholarships or bursaries; where can I go for more information? Please go to www.laurierbrantford.ca and click on Financial Assistance (found on the left-hand side of the screen). For your convenience, the direct link can be found by clicking here

I need to change my address; what do I do?
Your address can now be updated directly on LORIS. Please login to your LORIS account and go to “Personal Information”. You will then find a link to “Update Address(es) and Phone(s)

I have a request to provide a letter that confirms my enrollment; where can I get one?
Registrarial Services at the Brantford campus can assist you with this. Please click here to be directed to our Letters/Forms website for more information.

I have a form that needs to be signed or stamped/sealed by the Registrars Office; what should I do?
Registrarial Services is now able to complete forms that require signatures, or stamps/seals. Please go to our Letters/Forms website for specific details.

How do I find information about graduation and where do I apply to graduate?
Information regarding graduation is located on the Registrar’s Office website .

I have multiple midterms scheduled in a short period of time; what can I do?
Registrarial Services can only assist students with final exam inquiries. Should you find your midterm schedule overwhelming, please contact your instructors directly.

I have multiple final exams scheduled in a short period of time; what can I do?
If you have 3 exams that start and end within a 24 hour period (i.e. Tuesday 8:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 3:30 PM) please contact Registrarial Services at servicelaurier@wlu.ca

Please ensure your 3 exams start and end within the 24 hour period. For example, an exam at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, 12:00 PM on Tuesday, and 8:00 AM on Wednesday would not qualify, because the third exam does not end within the 24 hour period.
