Important Information for Final-Year Students
The Graduating Student Employment Service (GSES) is a program for students looking for work after graduation. Each year, over 400 employers recruit at Laurier from early September through June for positions available upon graduation. The Career Centre hosts employer recruiting sessions on campus where students can network with employers and learn more about available positions.
The Career Centre can help students prepare for this recruiting process. September recruiting focuses on jobs in accounting, finance and sales/marketing; however, jobs in diverse fields are posted throughout the academic year. For more information about the program, click here.
The Wilfrid Laurier University Career Development Centre is an important resource for helping students find relevant career information. Please visit their webpage at: www.wlu.ca/career.To get advice about what you can do with your degree in Sociology, visit the section called "What Can I Do With My Degree?".
