Safety, Health, Environment & Risk Management (SHERM) works together with management, employees, students and the Diversity and Equity Office to provide individualized emergency response plans and accessible formats of emergency and fire safety procedures.

SHERM supports the use of strobe lights attached to the fire alarm system. If a student living in residence or staff/faculty member requests a strobe light, because of a disability, SHERM will give full support in adding the device.
