IPRM supplementary positions: four members acclaimed
Communications, Public Affairs & Marketing
The nomination process for additional Laurier Brantford faculty positions on the Integrated Planning and Resource Management (IPRM) working groups is complete.
Two nominations were received for the two available positions on the Planning Task Force (PTF) and two nominations were received for the two available positions on the Academic Priorities team.
Therefore, the following four nominees have been acclaimed to IPRM working group positions:
Planning Task Force (PTF): Kathryn Carter and Robert Kristofferson were nominated and have agreed to serve on the PTF.
Academic Priorities Team: Stacey Hannem and John McCutcheon (currently Acting Dean in Brantford, eligible for appointed position) were nominated and have agreed to serve on the Academic Priorities Team.
On Feb. 5, a motion was passed at Senate to nominate additional Laurier Brantford faculty members to serve on IPRM working groups (one elected and one appointed to each of the PTF and Academic Priorities Team) to ensure the working groups reflect the full diversity of perspectives and multi-campus nature of the university.
Members of the Laurier community were invited to nominate Laurier Brantford faculty members to the working teams between Feb. 6 and Feb. 11. Because the number of nominees received equaled the available positions, an election is not necessary.
