PhD student wins prestigious fellowship

Éric Thériault has received one of the two prestigious doctoral fellowships awarded by the Ontario Problem Gambling Research Centre. Éric is a student in Developmental Psychology at Laurier. His undergraduate work was done at l'Université Laurentienne and he completed a Master's of Science at Lakehead University in applied health studies with a specialization in Gerontology.
His current research interest focuses around psychological
gerontology and culturally diverse communities in Canada, such as the Metis and
Francophones in Ontario. Éric is currently collaborating with Dr. Norris at
Laurier and Dr. Tindale at the University of Guelph in a study of gambling
among older Métis and Francophone populations in Ontario.
