Laurier business students excel at investment banking competition
On January 10, 2013, Laurier School of Business & Economics students Michael Yong, Gregory Chua, Christopher Gliszczynski, and Isaac Ng took home third place at the National Investment Banking Competition and Conference (NIBC).
Hosted by the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, the NIBC was developed to offer students from across North America, an unparalleled learning experience in investment banking and capital markets. The competition structure combines the most critical tasks encountered in investment banking including analyzing financial data, running a financial model, and presenting a pitch to senior managing directors under time pressure.
