Laurier aquaculture work featured in "Copper in Aquaculture"
Recent work in the Smith (Chemistry) and McGeer (Biology) labs has been featured on the "Copper in AquaCulture" website. While working as a technician in Smith's lab, former MSc student and current PhD student Holly Gray organized and implemented a rigorous sampling plan pre and post deployment of Cu alloy aquaculture nets in British Columbia. This work is expected to have a large impact on the potential for Cu alloy nets in BC aquaculture industry.
