Professor Kimberly Barber interviewed for the Globe and Mail's 2014 Canadian University Report
This week the Globe and Mail visited Wilfrid Laurier Universityís Faculty of Music to interview voice instructor Kimberly Barber and second year student Magnus Mee surrounding Barberís work with e-portfolios.
E-portfolios are an online tool which Professor Barber uses with her students for record-keeping, reflections on progress, challenges, successful techniques, practice sessions, and critical thinking and writing. For students their e-portfolio remains important throughout their careers as they can continue to track their abilities and repertoire.
Professor Barber and Magnus will be featured in the Globe and Mailís 2014 Canadian University Report, which is set to be released in October. They are pictured in Professor Barberís studio in the John Aird Centre.
