Biography

Biography:
My background and research interests lie in the area of applying principals of motor learning and control to elderly neurodegenerative populations in rehabilitation settings.  Recently, I have been focusing my attention on the gait disorders which afflict individuals with Parkinson's disease, specifically Freezing of Gait (FOG).

I graduated from WLU with an MSc. in Kinesiology and Physical Education in 2008 and my teaching labs currently are Motor Learning & Control (KP361), Biomechanics (KP351) and Research Methods II (KP262).

I am originally from Fort Erie and have been in the KW area for 9 years.  In my spare time I enjoy running, playing hockey, wakeboarding, and any other outdoor activity.  I look forward to meeting and working with students, faculty and staff int he Kinesiology and Physical Education department.
