Canadian Excellence

Society, Culture, and Environment is an exciting undergraduate program that introduces students to issues that affect us all and the world we live in, both locally and globally. We examine topics such as poverty and programs to reduce income inequality, climate change and sustainable communities, and citizens' roles in a democratic society. Professors and students in the program work together to inspire one another and develop innovative solutions to these complex issues.

Our graduates are socially aware citizens that have the capacity to dream and to do in their personal and work lives. As inspirational leaders in their communities, they contribute to a more positive collective future for all.

Careers paths of previous graduates include: lawyer, teacher, curriculum developer, business planner, financial advisor, insurance representative, not-for-profit campaign associate, youth worker, child care supervisor, mental health support worker.
