Integrating Trauma-Informed Care into Your Healthcare Practice...More Than Handing out Kleenex

Date: January 9, 2015
Time: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Cost: $150
Instructors: Dr. Candice Schachter, PT, PhD and Dr. Carol Stalker, RSW, PhD

The high prevalence of abuse and other adverse experiences in childhood suggests that all healthcare practitioners work unknowingly and knowingly with adult survivors of physical violence and psychological trauma on a daily basis; this fact underscores the importance of ensuring that every healthcare practitioner provides trauma-informed care at all times.

This workshop has been approved for 1.5 category A CEUs by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
