Biography
My interdisciplinary research examines the interplay of globalization and culture and the effects those have on institutions and organizations in Canada and abroad.
My research on the Canadian Forces examines, among other things, the impact of religious and cultural illiteracy on civil-military relations and the role of military forces in delivering humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and peace keeping/making efforts.
My work on higher education looks at the effects of service learning and learning abroad programs on international communities; and my research on Canada examines issues of diversity, competing values, citizenship, religious pluralism and diversity due to increasing global mobility and immigration.
