Wilfrid Laurier University Special Constable Service personnel are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Special Constables will respond to all calls for service and are dispatched on a priority basis through our office located in the Student Services Building across from the Dining Hall. Administration offices are located at 232 King Street N. If you require assistance or wish to report a crime, please call ourCommunication Centreat (519) 885-3333 or internally at extension 3333. All payphones on campus allow for a free call to our office, or you may use an emergency pole located throughout campus if you require immediate emergencyassistance.

Our Brantford office is located at 45 Market Street in Brantford and they can be reached by dialing 5888.

Wilfrid Laurier University Special Constable Service is committed to:

  • Using the Neighbourhood Policing Model to solve and prevent crime through education and the formation of partnerships to make Wilfrid Laurier a safer place to learn, live and work

Ryan Eldred, Special Constable Service Ryan graduated from Conestoga College in May 2003 with a Police Foundations Diploma. After school Ryan started work with G4S Securicor Armoured car services in Toronto where he stayed fro 3 years before becoming a member of Community Safety & Security. Ryan is a resident of Waterloo and in his spare time volunteers with National Service Dogs raising a puppy who will be placed with a child who has autism. Feel free to approach Ryan at any time.
