Designated/Hazardous Material Training
Designated substances are found in many buildings' materials at Laurier. Regulatory requirements dictate training and instruction for those who may encounter or be in close proximity to designated substances.
This session provides an overview of designated substances and hazardous materials that may be encountered during work procedures in university buildings. The training will review Regulatory requirements, hazards of exposure, personal protective equipment requirements, personal hygiene, and work procedures.

Cancellation Policy: Course cancellations must be made via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. TWO WORKING DAYS prior to the course date. Departments will be invoiced the course cost of $50 per registrant who fails to attend without adequate notice. For courses canceled at the discretion of SHERM, a two working day notice will be provided to participants, with the exception of situations involving circumstances beyond SHERM's control.
