Monthly Mentor Research Lunch

Nov 27/13

Date: Nov 27/13
Time: 12:30 - 13:30
Location: Circle Room, RCE 3rd Floor, Brantford Campus
Cost: Free

Are you interested in finding out about conducting research with Aboriginal communities, but not sure what is involved, where to start, or who to talk to first?

Do you know how the process differs from other types of community-based research?

Join us for an informal lunch discussion to share knowledge and best practices between experienced and in-experienced faculty/research staff with an aim to demystifying the process.

Time permitting, we will also brainstorm on how to better serve our closest neighbours - Six Nations - by developing a mechanism to create a list of community-driven topics/needs.

Discussion Leaders:
Jean Becker, Senior Advisor: Aboriginal Initiatives, and
Dr. Kim Anderson, Associate Professor, Indigenous Studies

Lunch provided by Boston Pizza. Everyone is welcome.
