What you will learn: procedures to actively read and critically assess course readings; how to prepare for lectures; how to take lecture notes effectively for studying; and, how to create effective study aids that will prepare you for tests. Practical exercises included.
What to bring: your notes and textbook for a course you are finding particularly challenging and a laptop if you have one.
1. Log into MyLearningSpace
2. Select "Self Registration" on the top right of the screen, and
3. Select and enroll in Study Skills Workshops,
4. Then select the workshops you want to register for.
Co-curricular Record: Attend five study skills workshops and complete the pre and post assessments to receive recognition on the Co-curricular Record.
