writing_circle_pic.pngThe Writing Circle is co-hosted by Educational Development and the Writing Centre.

Take an hour of your day to connect over coffee/tea with academic colleagues and peers from different disciplines and departments who will share their ownexperiences, best practices, lessons learned, and more with respect to developing and integrating writing activities and assignments into the classroom (online and face-to-face).

You don't need to register to participate, just show up and join the conversation as we exchange best practices, issues/challenges,lessons learned and more. Gatherings areinformal and driven by participant needs, interests, and questions. Given the timing of our first meeting this will be an excellent opportunity to reflect on the first week of classes and begin to think about and plan for implementing midterm exams.

Browse the writing circle wiki site to review highlights from previous gatherings. Check out other CoP groups (e.g., teaching larger classrooms, technology, Brantford). http://wluteachinglargerclasses.wikispaces.com/With
