Seeking a career in counselling, spiritual care and psychotherapy?

All are welcome to attend an Information Session for the Master of Arts in Theology: Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy program at Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, Wilfrid Laurier University.

This professional MA program will equip graduates to function as a professional counsellor or psychotherapist in as little as two years. Full and part-time options are available to complete the 16 courses. Students can complete a 160 hour practicum in the program -- normally a placement in a counselling agency -- and count the practicum as two courses in the program.
The model of studies for the MA programis currently beingredesigned and willbe announcedon our website latespring.Exciting course offerings include Healing Trauma, Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy, Introduction to God & Theological Reflection, Addiction Counselling & Spirituality, Grief Crises & Pastoral Care and Human Development.
The next application deadline is January 15, 2014 for Fall 2014. Waterloo Lutheran Seminary is the federated college of Wilfrid Laurier University which confers our degrees. Fall is the only entrance point for the program.
Info Session attendees are welcome to park in one of the Seminary's two lots with a complimentary permit obtained from the Seminary office when you arrive. You can either park in oursouth lot on the corner of Albert and Bricker streets or at the north end of the building right beside the Seminary bell tower.
