The octopus bag, also known as the fire pouch, is another Metis crafts that incorporates both is First Nation and European heritage.
Come join us for our Aboriginal Awareness Week workshop on March 4th at the Aboriginal Student Centre and you'll be able to make one for yourself!
Come to learn how to make one and about the history and significant of the octopus bag.
The event is open to any skill level and you can choose between embroidery, beading, painting or a mixture to decorate your bag.
